These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Dafio Rewards Technologies Inc., the corporation that operates dafio.com and the Dafio application. Read them before you subscribe or purchase a licence. Creating an account, connecting a card list, or completing a purchase means you accept them.

Dafio is decision software for card rewards. Using your location, your prior charges and the history of the terminal in front of you, it predicts the merchant and its category before you pay, names the card in your wallet that earns the most there, and shows the working: the predicted category, the confidence, the valuation, the runner up and the dollar gap, all of it editable. After the charge posts, it compares the real category to its prediction, marks itself right or wrong, and publishes your running hit rate.
Dafio is advisory. It issues no card, holds no funds, and is never in the payment path. You pay with your own card, through your own wallet or the plastic. Below its confidence threshold the software stays silent and says so rather than guessing.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States. Card information may be provided by read only connection through a third party aggregation provider, or as a manual card list with nothing connected at all. You are responsible for the accuracy of a manual list, for keeping your login confidential, and for activity under your account.
Dafio is offered on the following plans, billed through our payment processor:
Free: $0. The full web card check, up to three cards, twelve category routing and rotating category alerts.
Plus: $89 a year, or $8.99 a month. Unlimited cards, pre-tap verdicts everywhere, offline routing, post-charge verification and the month in review.
Lifetime: $149 once. Everything in Plus, permanently, including future Plus features. The Lifetime licence is a one time purchase, not a subscription, and does not renew.
Max: $180 a year, or $17.99 a month. Household routing with shared caps, per person visibility, the quarterly category optimiser and business cards.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, annual or monthly as selected, until you cancel. Cancel any time from account settings or by contacting us; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires a refund, paid periods and the Lifetime licence are non refundable once delivered. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.
Dafio recommends which of your existing cards to present. It is not a bank, a card issuer, a payment network or a financial adviser, and it never initiates, processes, routes or completes a payment. Reward outcomes depend on your issuer's terms, caps, activations and posting behaviour, which can change without notice and are outside our control. The published hit rate is a measurement of prediction accuracy on your own transaction history, not a promise of earnings.
You agree to use Dafio for your own household's cards, not to resell or redistribute its verdicts as a service, not to reverse engineer or scrape it, not to attempt unauthorized access, not to interfere with its operation, and not to submit another person's card or account information without their authority.
The software, models, interfaces and content belong to Dafio Rewards Technologies Inc. or its licensors. Your plan grants a personal, limited, non exclusive, non transferable license to use the software while your account is in good standing; for the Lifetime licence, that license is perpetual for personal use but remains non transferable and revocable for breach. No other rights are granted.
Dafio offers an SMS program that sends recurring automated account notification text messages about the subscriber's account and service to the mobile number provided at opt-in. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to [INSERT SHORT CODE]. After you send STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status by SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did the first time. If you are experiencing issues, reply HELP for assistance, or text HELP to [INSERT SHORT CODE], or contact us directly at the phone number or email in this document.
Carriers supported include AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Google Voice, Cellular One, Cellcom, Cellular South, Interop, Clearsky. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Read only account connections run through third party aggregation providers under their own terms, presented at the point you connect. Point valuations preload published editorial figures, which belong to their publishers and can be overruled by you. Payment processing is handled by our payment processor. We are not responsible for third party outages, though we will work around them where we can.
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. Predictions are probabilistic by nature and we do not warrant any individual verdict.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dafio Rewards Technologies Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for rewards not earned, caps missed or offers not activated. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the company is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that state.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes are posted on the site and noted in the app before they take effect; continued use is acceptance.
